Greg grew up in Ukiah, California. As a child, he loved to play baseball, spending hours batting rocks over the hillside. He worked hard on the family ranch -- helping to manage the vineyard and a handful of farm animals.
Greg lived in Santa Rosa as an adult, making his living as a landscaper -- owned his own business and had many loyal clients in the Santa Rosa area. He went fishing and skiing as often as he could, loving the outdoors.
In late November 2012, Greg developed acute hydrocephalus and was found unconscious in his apartment on Dec. 1st. The following 6 weeks he spent in ICU at the Marin General Hospital, getting wonderful care from a team of dedicated doctors and nurses.
Greg is already missed by his family, friends, customers, and co-workers.
He is survived by his father, Don Aldine; siblings Karen, Sue, and Rick; nieces Brianne, Manya and Darby; nephews Christian, Sam and Tanner; uncles Chuck Aldine and Larry Witham, cousins Tom, John, Stephana, Steve, and Chris.
